1. Selling & Appraisal

Our selling process is straight forward:
1. Submit Your Gear Details: Fill out our online form with your equipment’s model, age, cosmetic condition, and any included accessories.
2. Receive an Initial Quote: We’ll evaluate your submission and email you an initial offer.
3. Inspection & Approval: After we receive your item(s), we inspect them and adjust the quote if necessary.
4. Get Paid: Once approved, payment is processed via bank transfer.

We evaluate your equipment using our cosmetic condition grading system—from “Like New” to “Heavily Used”—and verify its functionality and completeness. The initial quote provided may be revised after a physical inspection.

If our inspection reveals differences from the description you provided, we will update the quote accordingly and notify you via email. You can then choose to accept the revised offer or have your equipment returned free of charge.

When submitting your equipment for appraisal, please include the model, age, current cosmetic condition (using our grading system), and a list of any accessories included. This information helps us deliver an accurate quote.

Once your equipment is received, our inspection process typically takes between 2 to 5 working days. After inspection, if everything is in order, payment is usually processed within three working days via bank transfer.

2. Ordering & Delivery

To place an order, select the products you wish to purchase, add them to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your order seamlessly.

Orders are shipped via DPD or Royal Mail and require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct to prevent delays or returned packages.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can also log into your account on our website to monitor the status of your order.

You may cancel an order before delivery or return a product within 14 days of receipt, as long as it is in its original condition. Please follow our returns procedure to receive a full refund.

For consumer purchases, we offer a 3‑month warranty on used products covering approved repairs and replacements. Exclusions apply (e.g., accidental damage or normal wear and tear). Please review our warranty policy for full details.

3. General Inquiries & Support

MakCameras Ltd operates as MakCameras.com—a specialist platform for buying, selling, and trading pre‑owned digital camera equipment and related accessories. We serve both individual consumers and business customers.

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers. Payment is securely processed during checkout.

FAQ 13: We do not offer re-evaluations for appraisal quotes. However, if you do not agree with the quoted price for your equipment, you can always request a free return of your item.

If the courier is unable to collect your equipment due to incorrect details or other issues, please contact us promptly to arrange a new collection date. Please note that additional charges may apply for failed collections.
